EWCAP Creates Connector Usage List

EWCAP has created a list of recommended USCAR connectors by vehicle function. If you are a supplier planning to quote or tool a device for a USCAR member OEM, please check the list and consult with your customer. Designing with the recommended EWCAP footprint should enable you to tool the electrical interface for your device only once and then have the potential for sales at other OEM's.

The list continues to change as we evolve, so check the web site frequently for updates.

These common electrical interfaces are recommendations only and are not binding on EWCAP member OEM's. Always check with your customer before tooling any parts.

The connector configurations shown are the USCAR recommended designs for vehicle electrical devices. This list does not cover all situations. Please contact USCAR (ewcap@uscar.org) if you do not find a connector for your specific application.

More than one pin size configuration is listed for most applications due to special needs that cannot be anticipated by EWCAP. The preferred configuration is indicated in bold.
